Firstly, I want to thank all of you who have been listening to this little show now for 30 episodes! I am truly glad that you are enjoying it as much as I am right now, and we have lots of great interviews and music to come.
Hour 1 – This show opens with a couple of classic LA bands, Quiet Riot and Van Halen, fitting as I recorded the show in LA this week. The hour is full of music, including some new tracks from The Winery Dogs, Leslie West feat. Mark Tremonti, and Tom Keifer. The Dead Daisies make their Noize Faktory debut this week with a track from their new album called “Lock N Load” featuring Slash on the lead guitar.
Hour 2 – Some classic Scorpions opens this hour, from back in the early 70’s long before anyone here in the US knew who they were, then some early Whitesnake, and a great album track from Aerosmith’s TOYS IN THE ATTIC. Then I have some newer tunes from Alice In Chains, Kadavr, Sabbath and the Cult. To close this hour I go back to the 60’s for one of the bands that was part of the early hard rock movement Steppenwolf.
Hour 3 – The final hour of the 30th episode begins with a bonus track from Scorpion Child, and to carry on that theme I dug into the vaults for some more rarely heard bonus tracks from Ozzy, Queensryche, and Tony Montana. I play you a couple of more new tracks from Orchid and The Temperance Movement, mixed in with some classic stuff from Motley Crue, Judas Priest, and Def Leppard, and then we close the show with a cover of Aerosmith’s “Back In The Saddle” performed by Sebastian Bach and Axl Rose.
