For all of you Cult fans I hope that you have taken a listen to the incredible new CD, Choice Of Weapon, you will not be disappointed. This weeks show features another song from the Beyond Good & Evil CD, called Rise, which is one of my favorite Cult tracks of all time. Here is a live performance of the song from Guitar Center Sessions in 2012.

Hour 3 of the show this week features cover songs for the entire hour, and one of the really unexpected, but incredible covers, is by the Scorpions. Off of their Acoustica CD from a few years back the Scorps do a cover of “Drive” from the Cars. The show is one of the best performances I have ever seen a band do unplugged, and its too bad that MTV never had the Scorpions on Unplugged.
Here is the clip of “Drive” from that show, and you can hear it and other great covers on this weeks episode of The Noize Faktory.
The Scorpions – “Drive”
If you have been listening to the Noize Faktory for the last few weeks then you have already heard a couple of the tracks from the Twenty Two Hundred’s new CD Carnaval De Venus. Next week Tony Cardenas-Montana will be our guest for the entire episode, we will discuss the Twenty Two Hundred as well as his past with Great White, his tour with Slash & Myles Kennedy, and much much more.
You can hear “The Rat” on the current episode of the Noize Faktory starting off hour 2!
Here is a great peak into the recording process of the new CD, with a surprise visit from Steven Tyler at the very end.
Twenty Two Hundred – Album Teaser
The Noize Faktory new episode features the title track from Black Country Communion’s latest release, “Afterglow”. Here is a little look inside the making of the album, and a taste of what to expect.
Black Country Communion – Afterglow Trailer
I just realized that in hour 2 of this weeks show I mis-spoke and said that Captain Beyond featured members of Iron Maiden, when I meant to say Iron Butterfly. Just wanted to make that correction. Captain Beyond have a new live album that has been released, its a recording from a show in 1973. You can find it on Amazon.
Welcome to this weeks episode of The Noize Faktory, lots of cool stuff for you all in this episode, and hour three of the show is all cover songs.
Hour 1 – We start the show off with Blackfoot and the Joe Perry Project, and weave our way through the hour with a new song from Black Country Communion, one of my favorites from the Cult’s Beyond Good And Evil comeback album, and we wrap with my favorite cut from the Rival Sons’ Pressure & Time album.
Hour 2 – We kick off this hour with a track from the Twenty Two Hundred. I force some of my favorite oddities on you, like Captain Beyond’s “Dancing Madly Backwards” and Whitford / St. Holmes’ “Sharpshooter”. When was the last time you heard those? I also play a new track from the legendary ZZ Top, and their brand new CD La Futura.
Hour 3 – Undercover! I have always loved cover songs, so this will be a recurring segment as the Noize Faktory continues on. We have some great tracks from Gary Moore, Little Ceasar, Humble Pie, and Trouble to name a few. I also have a brief interview segment with Blackie Lawless of WASP where he talks about their hit cover of The Who’s “The Real Me” that we recorded in the late 1990’s.
I hope that you guys enjoy the show as always.
