Aerosmith – “One Way Street” Live

Not a whole lot needs to be said here.  Aerosmith, one of America’s greatest rock bands, still kicking ass after 40 some years.  This is a fairly recent live recording of one of the classic tracks from their very first album.  “One Way Street” features a killer solo from Brad Whitford and another from Perry, some of the greatest groove that the band ever laid down, and a great lyric from Steven.

Watch it, love it, and hear the original studio version in Hour 1 of The Noize Faktory this week.

Kadavar – “Doomsday Machine” Official Video

If  any of you have taken a listen to Kadavar, you know that they are not a Death Metal band as the name might make you think.  They are like a time machine that takes you back to the psychedelic early 70’s heavy rock.  I find elements of Sabbath, Uli Roth era Scorpions, and boogie that reminds me of Cactus.  Not only does the album cover look like it was shot in 1971, but the official video for “Doomsday Machine” looks like it may have been shot in 1971 as well!

So strap yourself in, make sure you have enough plutonium for the trip back, and get that Delorean up to 88 MPH and transport yourself back to 1971 (its really 2013….weird!), and just kick back and enjoy!

Motorhead – “Overkill” Live In HD

Not a whole lot needs to be said about Lemmy, or Motorhead in general.  He is one of the most genuine people in this business, and it is always a pleasure to be in his presence.  This is a great clip of Motorhead in fantastic HD, doing “Overkill”, which we open this weeks Noize Faktory, and is also the song that gave us this weeks title.

Episode 14 – Only Way To Feel The Noise Is When Its Good and Loud

The music continues this week here on the Noize Faktory. Some more new songs from some of the recent albums we have been talking about over the last couple of weeks, and lots of or your favorites mixed in.

Hour 1 – We start the show in grand fashion with a little Motorhead, Motley Crue, and The Scorpions. I have some new tracks from Queensryche, Winery Dogs, and StoneRider in this hour, and tracks from Van Halen, Type O Negative, Tesla, and Aerosmith round out the hour.

Hour 2 – The opening block of this show features some epic tracks from Black Sabbath, Brand New Sin, and Orchid, and then we get into some killer new blues rock from Pat Travers Band. I also play new tracks from Deep Purple and Kadavar in this hour, along with some Ram Jam, DBA, Cactus, and the Rival Sons.

Hour 3 – New music from Love And A .38, another new track from our friends in Mach 22, and new tracks from Screaming Eagles and Scorpion Child. W.A.S.P., Slaughter, Ted Nugent with Meatloaf on vocals, Slash Feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and Cheap Trick all have some great tracks in this hour, and I have a track from Angora, John Corabi’s band before The Scream filling out the show.
