Episode 47 – Smell Of Anarchy

noizefaktoryWelcome to the Noize Faktory!  This week UFO opens the show with their classic “Lights Out”.  A song of legendary proportions, no matter what you think of rock music.

Hour 1 – This hour features songs from Slash Feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and even ends with an epic Alter Bridge song, so Myles is getting some love in this hour.  I heard some of the early mixes of the new Slash record, and it is going to be an incredible rock record.  I can’t wait to hear the final masters and get to share some of it with you all.  I also have some new music from Massive, Tesla, and Cage The Gods, along with some killer tracks from some of your favorite bands, Alice In Chains and Billy Idol.  I even play Bang Tango!  Ridiculous!

Hour 2 – Got a handful of new songs in this hour for you including Red Dragon Cartel, Screaming Eagles, Bad Barber, Scorpion Child and Free Fall.  I go deep into the Fastway catalog and play “We Become One”, a killer track from those guys.   Frehley’s Comet is in here somewhere, and so are the guys from Graveyard with a great tune called “As The Years Pass By”.   And I close the show with the late great Gary Moore, and his track “Run For Cover”.

A big happy birthday to my beautiful and loving wife Gina, and my good friend, Mr. John Corabi.

Episode 46 – I Got The Fire

noizefaktoryThis week, I just took the title of the opening song of this show, Montrose’s “I Got The Fire”, killer riff, pretty good vocalist, and a badass rhythm section.  The original Montrose, from the 2nd album, not quite as strong as the classic first, but it did have some great tracks.

Hour 1 is solid rock, as you have come to expect from The Noize Faktory, your online home for everything rock!  A little tip of the hat to AC/DC who have been all over the rumor mill recently, and big love to Mr. Karl Cochran, an incredible guitarist / vocalist who has worked with Ace Frehley and Joe Lynn Turner among others, and the man behind one of my favorite records Voodooland.  Karl recently suffered a stroke, and is in recovery now.  The man is a hugely talented guitarist, and if you don’t know him, you need to discover his work.  Head over to and send your love and prayers.  We wish you a speedy recovery Karl.

This hour also features new tunes from California Breed, Vandenberg’s MoonKings, The Answer, and the 2nd tune from The Rival Sons’ GREAT WESTERN VALKERIE.

Hour 2 is all cover songs!  Went deep into some of my collection for some of these, lots of great artists with their takes on some of their favorite tunes.  We have Jake E. Lee, Little Ceasar, Tony Montana & Chris Buck, Queensryche, Sebastian Bach, Dave Rude, The Treatment, Pat Travers, Shannon Curfman, and Motley Crue.  This was a fun hour, hope that you enjoy it!

Episode 45 – Loving Every Second, Every Moment, Every Scream

noizefaktoryHello again my loyal minions, my army of musical maniacs, etc, etc.  It is time for another installment of the Noize Faktory, your online home for everything rock!

We have some great new tunes for this week, including debuts from The Treatment, Massive, and Vandenberg’s Moonkings.

Hour 1 opens with the king of shock, Mr. Alice Cooper, and his over the top opener from the Billion Dollar Babies album, “Hello Hooray”.  Queen keeps things moving along, and Leslie West, the man, the legend rounds out the opening block.  The new songs start flowing with The Treatment, and a song from their new CD RUNNING WITH THE DOGS, with perhaps one of the greatest titles I have heard in ages, “Don’t Get Mad, Get Evil”.  Love it!  Our friends in Monster Truck, Cage The Gods, California Breed, Oliva, and a debut from the new band Massive round out the hour.

Hour 2 continues with the Kiss Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame talk, they have been everywhere, and this weekend is the ceremony.  Wouldn’t it be just like Kiss to lead up to this event, which they have been denied all these years, with strife and fighting, and end up performing with all the living members of the band?  I would love to see it happen, who knows, but its definitely a great “up yours” to the Hall and Rolling Stone magazine who have waited 40 years for the band to be on the cover!  Adrian Vanderberg returns to music with his new band The Moonkings, and the track I have for you rocks, its called “Close To You”, there is a definite Whitesnake/Dio vibe about the band, and I like it!  The hour also features music from Nazareth, Black Sabbath, Heart, Dead Daisies, Stone Machine, Rival Sons, Dirty Streets, and Free Fall.
